Planned care options

What we are planning, and how we will decide what fits.

These are the care options Restore is planning. They are not yet available. Services may differ from one community to another, and we will confirm what each community offers before it opens.

Planned

Assisted living

Intended for: someone who needs help with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, or medication support, and wants more company.

Planned support: help with daily activities according to an individualized support plan, dining, housekeeping, and activities. Specific services will be confirmed for each community.

Planned

Memory care

Intended for: someone living with memory loss who may benefit from routine, a calm setting, and staff with dementia training.

Planned support: structured routines and a setting designed for people with memory loss. Staff training, environment features, and any secured areas will be described once they are confirmed and will follow each state’s requirements.

Planned

Independent living

Intended for: active older adults who want to leave behind home maintenance and gain a social calendar.

Planned support: maintenance-free living, dining, and activities. Whether independent living is offered at a given community has not been confirmed.

Not every service will be offered at every community. We will state clearly which options each community offers when that is confirmed.

How fit will be decided

An assessment first, then a plan

  • Before admission, we plan to assess the person’s care needs and talk with them and their family about their health, routines, and goals.
  • We will confirm whether Restore can appropriately meet those needs. Admission depends on the assessment, the services available, and capacity.
  • If we are not the right fit, we plan to say so plainly and, where we can, suggest other options to consider.
  • We plan to write an individualized support plan with the person and family, explain the cost of that level of care in writing, and review the plan on a regular schedule and when needs change. The review schedule will be published when it is final.

If needs change

Continued residency depends on needs and services

Care needs can increase over time. Whether a resident can continue living at a Restore community, or needs to move to a different level of care or another provider, depends on their assessed needs, the services available, the community’s capacity, and its ability to provide appropriate support. We cannot promise that a resident will always be able to stay, or that the same staff will always be present. We plan to talk with families early when a change is being considered.

Included and outside services

What costs what

Each community’s written rate sheet will list what is included in the monthly price and what costs extra. Medical care from outside providers, such as physicians, therapists, or home health agencies, is generally arranged and billed by those providers. Restore’s policy on this is being finalized.

What we will confirm

Details we plan to publish for each community

  • Staffing, including overnight, and nurse availability
  • Medication assistance, and who may administer medications
  • Dementia training and any secured memory care areas
  • Transportation
  • Therapy services, and whether they come from outside providers
  • Dining and meal service
  • Apartment types, and whether private or shared
  • Emergency procedures
  • Licensing information for the state

An illustration, not a schedule

What a day might feel like

This is an illustration of the kind of day we hope to support. It is not a promise of specific services or times, which will be confirmed for each community.

  1. Getting up, with support where it is needed
  2. A meal with neighbors, then time for activities or rest
  3. Games, music, a walk, or visiting with family and friends
  4. Dinner, then a quiet evening

Not sure which fits?

A short conversation about daily routines, mobility, memory, and medications is usually enough to point you in a direction, even if the answer is that you do not need us yet.
